The mainstream media is pushing the story to delegitimize Trump’s presidency

Here, for what it is worth, are my thoughts over Flynn’s resignation as the National Security Advisor to President Trump.

Donald Trump, in other words the American people, won the November election against the entire inter-locking force in control of the American state (or the super-structure, as Marxists would call it). This victory had nothing to do with Putin and Russia.

Those who watched and studied this past election right from the beginning of the primary season in mid-2015, as I did, will not be fooled or taken in by the manufactured story line put out by the Democratic party, Soros funded mayhem makers, the mainstream media that has been in the tank with Obama and Hillary, the RINOs comfortable in playing the second fiddle to the Democrats, the academia, the Neocons, the vast international left-wing network with BBC and the Euroleft, and the Islamists well embedded in the West through leftwing parties (such as our own Liberal and NDP), that Trump’s win was bought by Putin through hacking of Hillary and her mate John Podesta’s computers and that of the DNC.

Only a month before the vote Obama was taunting Trump to do his campaign and stop talking about rigged elections since everything was well secure under his watch. A week after the election Obama and company started pushing the “fake news” that Trump’s victory came through Putin’s interference in the American election. Hillary had not only lost, but she had lost big going down with over a $billion invested in her campaign, which needed to be explained to a whole lot of people who had invested in her bid for presidency in the “pay-as-you-play” scheme. So the story about Putin also provided cover to Hillary that she would have won in a “fair” election, and her loss was not because she was a terribly compromised and ethically-challenged candidate but that an election within her grasp had been stolen by Putin in favour of Trump.

The mainstream media is pushing the story to delegitimize Trump’s presidency. The whole media gambit is based on the premise that by pushing this “fake news” 24/7 enough Americans will eventually buy into the story. They might, but again they might not. The entire primary season we saw a full-throttled campaign against Trump by this same media that received its blowback in November. Recent polls have indicated that the American public has little trust in the media, and we are yet to see an effective push-back campaign by Trump and his people against the leaks and “fake news” directed against them unfold. This will come.

But here I will apply Occam’s razor. The simplest explanation about Putin, Russia and the fall of Michael Flynn is that the main story is instead about Iran and the Trump administration preparing to undo Obama’s legacy item of the Iran deal just as they are pledged to undo Obamacare.

Consider that Putin’s main ally of convenience and low-opportunity cost in the Middle East is Iran. it is Iran that has been doing Putin’s bidding in propping Bashar Asad’s regime in Syria.

But who has empowered Iran’s ayatollahs to fantasize about becoming a nuclear power? Who removed the UN sanctions on Iran that allows Russia to openly provide technical-logistical-material support to the ayatollahs to now openly test launch ballistic missiles? Who drew the red line on Syria then reneged? Who was responsible for the troop withdrawal from Iraq that enabled the rise of ISIS? Who has played on both sides of the Sunni-Shia divide in the Middle East that has worked to the advantage of ISIS? Who has betrayed Israel in the UN Security Council vote that gives more “legal” ground to Iran and other Muslim countries in their unremitting “jihad” against Israel?

For all of the above and more, it is Obama who is responsible.

What does Trump want to do? Create a wedge between Putin and Iran, and widen this wedge to the breaking point if possible. Why?

Trump wants Putin to join him to obliterate ISIS. More, Trump is on record that he will tear up Obama’s Iran deal. Trump needs Putin to stop doing business with Iran. What can be the basis of a deal? Here Trump has set the table for Putin with his appointment of Rex Tillerson, the oil man, as Sec. of State who knows best about Russia’s economy and dependency on fossil fuel. This is the long game.

Flynn went public a week or so ago warning Iran in no uncertain terms after Tehran test fired its ballistic missile. The warning was the opening move in what Flynn was set to prepare in dealing with Iran down the road, while Trump got his cabinet and his staff in place.

So Flynn had to be brought down by Obama and his henchmen in the “deep state”, which is what occurred by selective leak of Flynn’s conversation with the Russian ambassador before Trump’s inauguration.

The selective leaks of highly classified source of information based on monitoring of tele-communications to news media are very likely illegal, possibly criminal, and we will not be surprised if the A-G Jeff Sessions take steps to investigate and prosecute those responsible for these leaks.

Politics is warfare by other means, to paraphrase Clausewitz.

Democrats and their backers have not gotten over their defeat, and have vowed it seems to continue their warfare against Trump by whatever means they can. None of this will end well.

The American people are now more aware of how treacherous, in other words how un-American are the Democrats and their entire network of allies in the media, in the academia, and in the bureaucracy.

Trump might well lose a skirmish here and there. But he is a fast learner, and more importantly he has the American people behind him. This is what his enemies and his critics, including those in Canada, do not understand.

And so long he has the American people behind him, so long he remains true to the contract he has made with the voters on such big ticket items as immigration, the wall, trade, jobs, tax cuts, and draining the swamp, he will prevail. If he loses sight of what he promised to do and fails doing them by not being seen to push on these matter, then all bets are off and the vultures of the Democratic party and its allies will feast on Trump’s failing presidency.

But we are not even a month into Trump taking over the White House.
